Expert 3: Specialist in Regulations and Enabling Regulations for Circular Transition, Energy Efficiency, and Fuel Switch

The company has over 15 years of experience in implementing projects globally, promoting innovative and sustainable approaches to strengthen capacities in inclusive businesses.

To form our pool of experts, we are seeking a consultant for the position: Specialist in Regulations and Enabling Regulations for Circular Transition, Energy Efficiency, and Fuel Switch

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, environmental engineering, public policy, or related disciplines.

  • Master's degree in regulation, public policy, environmental law, climate governance, or similar.

• Language:

  • Spanish: Equivalent to C1 level.

• General Professional Experience:

  • 6 years of professional experience in the analysis, design, or implementation of regulatory frameworks in environmental and/or technical areas.

• Specific Professional Experience:

  • 28 months in developing and/or updating technical and regulatory instruments in Circular Economy (CE), Energy Efficiency (EE), water and sanitation, or waste management.

  • 12 months leading processes for the development and validation of regulatory instruments related to CE, CC, and/or EE.

• Professional Experience in the Country of Assignment and/or Region of Assignment:

  • 5 years of professional experience in Latin America and the Caribbean, South America, and Central America.

  • 3 years of professional experience in Peru.
