About the Role

ALPHABET Company is seeking experienced and qualified Welding Supervisors to support ongoing industrial and Power  operations in Kirkuk. The selected candidates will be responsible for supervising welding activities on-site, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical requirements, and coordinating with engineering, QA/QC, and Engineering team,

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily welding and fabrication activities on-site.

  • Ensure all welding works are executed according to approved procedures, drawings, and project specifications.

  • Monitor weld quality and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and WPS standards.

  • Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors, engineers, and site management teams.

  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with HSE requirements at all times.

  • Supervise welding crews, allocate tasks, and monitor productivity.

  • Verify materials, consumables, and welding equipment readiness.

  • Support inspections, testing activities, and documentation processes.

  • Report site progress, technical issues, and manpower requirements to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in welding supervision withinPower, Electricty, Oil & Gas, industrial, or Mechanical works projects.

  • Strong knowledge of welding procedures, fabrication standards, and QA/QC processes.

  • Experience supervising welding crews and field activities.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding documentation.

  • Good understanding of HSE standards and site safety procedures.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Previous experience in Kirkuk Power projects is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Welding certification or technical diploma.

  • Familiarity with WPS, NDT coordination, and inspection requirements.

  • Experience working with EPC contractors or industrial projects.
