Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Prepare in-depth analytical reports on political, economic, and international relations developments in Latin America and the United States to support business and strategic decision-making.
Closely monitor U.S. policies toward Latin America, bilateral relations, key figures' activities, and the underlying logic and evolving trends behind major agendas.
Provide value-added analysis based on local policy environments, business-government networks, and decision-making processes—avoiding mere compilation of publicly available information.
Working Arrangement
Each project is scoped individually, with deliverables mainly in the form of written analytical reports (2–5 pages), supplemented by online briefings when necessary.
A confidentiality agreement is required. Payment is made upon project acceptance, with milestone-based payment options available.
Long-term collaborators may be offered an annual framework agreement.
Required Skills
Ideal Candidate Profile
At least five years of experience in politics, international relations, public policy, think tanks, journalism, or related fields in Latin American countries (e.g., Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, etc.).
Strong understanding of local government operations, decision-making processes, or business-government networks, with proven information-gathering and analytical capabilities.
Sustained interest in and deep understanding of U.S. politics and U.S.-Latin America relations.
Proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese (at least two working languages), with the ability to deliver written reports in English.
