Lead consultant/ waste specialist

Qualifications :

Advanced degree in waste management, environment, engineering or other relevant field of study.

Experience and Competencies

• Proof of at least 10 years' relevant professional experience related to solid / liquid / agricultural waste analysis, treatment, recycling and bioenergy
• At least 8 years of experience in designing technical specifications of waste equipment and facilities
• A track record of designing solutions for improving waste management, biogas / bioenergy, organic waste processing or similar in developing countries (at least 3 projects realized)
• Understanding of Cote d’Ivoire context, particularly with regards to waste management issues
• Knowledge of standards, regulations, and policy environment for solid and liquid waste management in Ivory Coast
• Fluency in French and English
• Familiar with current innovative and integrated solutions for waste management and/or methane reduction
