Description

About Us

A+S Consult GmbH is an international consulting and engineering company delivering donor-funded transport infrastructure and mobility projects worldwide. We support clients with technical planning, implementation management, and capacity building to strengthen institutions and ensure sustainable operation and maintenance of complex assets.

Objective:

The project aims to develop a modern, safe, and sustainable Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network in Quetta, Pakistan, to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance urban mobility. Funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), this assignment involves conducting a detailed feasibility study, preparing comprehensive engineering designs, and providing procurement support for the BRT system.

Position: BIM Manager

As the BIM Manager, you will spearhead the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all project components, ensuring seamless integration of 3D designs for stations, depots, commercial plazas, and corridor structures. You will oversee clash detection, multidisciplinary coordination, and the management of BIM data to support the detailed engineering design and construction readiness of the sustainable BRT network.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and manage the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) Level-3 for all project components, including stations, depots, commercial plazas, and elevated/underground corridor sections.

·       Coordinate the creation and management of 3D design drawings, integrating time and cost aspects for comprehensive engineering analysis.

·       Conduct and oversee collision detection (clash detection) processes to resolve interdisciplinary conflicts in civil, structural, architectural, and MEP designs.

·       Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans to ensure data consistency and quality across all design teams.

·       Facilitate collaboration among various engineering disciplines and stakeholders using the centralized BIM environment.

·       Ensure the final BIM models are fully developed, optimized, and handed over to the client as part of the detailed engineering design package.

Candidate Requirements

·       Education: University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.

·       Professional Experience: Extensive professional experience in managing BIM processes, with a strong portfolio of large-scale infrastructure or transport projects.

·       Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks) and a deep understanding of Level-3 BIM requirements, clash detection, and 4D/5D modeling (time and cost integration).

·       Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and managing BIM execution plans for complex civil and structural works.

·       Languages: Excellent command of English (spoken and written) for technical reporting, design documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
