Drainage/Hydrology engineer

We are looking for a strong Drainage/Hydrology engineer to add to our team. In this role you will be engaged in the hydrologic and hydraulic design and analysis of rivers, culverts, storm drains, road drainage, floodplains and grading. You will carry out calculations, coordinate the preparation of drawings and prepare design reports and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Independently develop engineering drainage and hydrology designs for road, highway, flood protections and urban drainage projects.
• Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, procurement documents, proposal evaluations, technical reports and detailed analyses.
• Highly skilled with: AutoCAD, Civil3D, Hec-HMS, Hec-Ras (1D and 2D), SewerGEM, SWMM and other software for the urban drainage design.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or related field
• 10+ years of related design experience with drainage and hydrology for roads and highways or bridges or similar projects.
