During the 2023 World Health Summit held in Berlin, Germany, UNOPS and the World Health Organization (WHO) jointly hosted a session on fostering health system resilience in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.
The high-level panel – which included the UNOPS Executive Director, health ministers from Yemen and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as representatives from WHO Ukraine and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies – discussed practical solutions that could be scaled up to provide better access to health for vulnerable populations.
