Livelihoods Venture

The Livelihoods Funds are impact investment funds that seek to help agricultural and rural communities live in sustainable ecosystems that form the basis of their food security and provide the resources they need for their livelihoods.

Livelihoods Funds invest in large-scale projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America to improve smallholder farmers and rural communities, restore ecosystems, combat climate change and create value across agricultural supply chains. By organizing novel investment vehicles for environmental products and services, sustainable agriculture markets and carbon offset technologies, Livelihoods acts as a basis for restoring or protecting degraded or threatened ecosystems.

The Livelihoods Funds are advised by Livelihoods Venture, located in Paris, which is responsible for selecting, creating and executing Livelihoods projects carried out by the firm's local project developers who are often well-established local NGOs that operate closely with rural communities to empower them to become positive change-makers.
