IHD - Initiative Humanitaire pour le Développement

IHD is a national non-profit association created under Congolese law n°004 of July 20, 2001 on non-profit organizations and remains, under an evolving process, a non-profit organization with a regional and international vocation.

In terms of overall governance, the organization is managed by a board of directors and its office, with the support of provincial teams based in Kinshasa, Goma, Bukavu, Kindu, Uvira, Butembo, Beni.

Whenever the needs assessed on the ground require it, IHD opens other operational sub-offices in the field and in other provinces affected by various crises and armed conflicts across the DRC.
