About

The Center for Information and Training in Human Rights in Africa (CIFDHA) is a civil society association in Burkina Faso founded in 2009 by young people from Burkina Faso and Switzerland who wanted to encourage activity, participation and dedication to human rights in others.

The organization has 50 members who are keen to contribute their talent, knowledge and dedication to work for any public or private organization concerned with human rights. Its principal mission is to develop the action capacity of young human rights activists via high-quality local training, helping them to be more successful in their field interventions.

A major goal set by the CIFDHA is to help popularize the tools for the promotion and protection of human rights, as well as for the betterment of Africa's human rights situation.
