The West African Network for the Fight Against Illegal Immigration (REALIC-CI), was formally founded in 2017 at the initiative of former United Nations workers and international NGOs. The organization was created to serve as a support mechanism for the Ivorian government's migration and development strategy and to provide effective expertise and services to the governance of the migration sector in Côte d'Ivoire and Africa. REALIC-CI, is an NGO under Ivorian law, which works in network with 7 other local NGOs (SOS Exclusion, SOS Immigration Clandestine, FOSCAO-CI, Ivorian Civil Society Convention, REDHG, 2AIM and PSILMI) on the theme of migration.
