IDS GmbH

Founded in 1998, IDS GmbH is now a well-known name for consulting, software development and individual programming for various industries in our region and beyond throughout Germany and in neighboring German-speaking countries.

A merchandise management system for the IBM System AS / 400 (known today as the IBM System i5 or System i) was developed especially for the tire wholesale trade in practical cooperation with tire dealers.

Thanks to our employees' experience of over 20 years in the tire trade, we are very familiar with the peculiarities of the daily routine of the tire business (in the wholesale sector as well as in the assembly company).

In addition to the originally developed merchandise management system for wholesalers, we can now also offer multi-user merchandise management for PCs based on MS Windows for “small” and “medium-sized” tire fitting companies.

An internet shop system with extensive functions complements our inventory control system for the tire trade. The shop system for “e-business” is compatible with any other merchandise management system thanks to changeable interfaces, in addition to the merchandise management systems developed by IDS GmbH.

All of the software systems we offer are in-house developments by our company, implemented in cooperation with our customers by our employees.
