ARCA - Association De Recherche en Criminologie Appliquee

The ARCA is a multidisciplinary research and action unit, founded by university partners and practitioners in the fields of criminology, psychology, philosophy and sociology. Its missions are related to understanding, prevention, treatment and advocacy concerning violence, social regulation, risk behavior and situations of vulnerability.

From local to international, ARCA works with public services and political, academic and community partners in the areas of justice, homeland security, education and prevention. The ARCA aims to be a mediator between the progress of international research and the professionals practicing closer to our population, on the one hand by transferring scientifically validated concepts and methods to tools that can be mobilized in practice, but also by placing the problems of the "field" at the center of the reflections.
