Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is named after the patriarch of Lithuanian constitutional law Mykolas Romeris (1880 – 1945).
MRU is the largest specialized university of social sciences in Lithuania.
The MRU study program portfolio is dominated by study programs in the field of social sciences (95% of the entire study portfolio - AIKOS database).
The following faculties operate at the university:

About 7,500 students and students study at the university.
MRU conducts significant international and national study and research projects (on average, about 50 projects are conducted per year).
The international study "Creating a culture of social innovation in higher education" funded by the European Commission showed that MRU is the best university developing social innovation among several hundred Central and Eastern European universities .
MRU was the first in Lithuania to start implementing joint study programs with foreign universities in France, Austria and Finland, strongly developed scientific partnerships with South Korea and other universities in the Asian region.
South Korea, Japan, China and India have been and continue to be the main countries in the development of university cooperation in the Asian region. Dongseo (South Korea), Josai (Japan), Huazong University of Science and Technology (China) are just some of the university's most active partners in the Asian region.
21 MRU study programs are conducted in English (10 - in the first cycle, 17 - in the second cycle. Of them, 9 are joint, 6 - validated or two diplomas and 6 national, taught in English).
