La GAB - La Générale des Assurances du Bénin

Following the National Conference of Forces Vives in February 1992, Benin chose the option of economic and political liberalism. Strongly inspired by this new orientation and strongly motivated by their desire to actively participate in building an economically prosperous Benin, a group of Beninese economic operators decided in 1999 to create an insurance company whose shareholders are exclusively Beninese: La Générale des Assurances du Bénin. It has been operating in property and casualty since 1999. Its head office is located on Boulevard St Michel – GAB Building – Face Center for the Promotion of Crafts in Cotonou.
