Gea is a type A and B non-profit Social Cooperative. Established in 1989, Gea pursues the general interest of the community, human promotion and social integration of citizens through the management of social, socio-health and educational services. It promotes the insertion and integration of disadvantaged people into the working context through the management of various sectors of activity. The cooperative in its more than 25 years of activity has acted in compliance with the principles of democracy, participation and enhancement of human resources, network work, the effectiveness of interventions and transparency, territorial roots, but above all of participatory governance through the sharing of decisions for the welfare of local communities. Currently the cooperative in the field of services manages home services for the elderly and disabled, multifunctional social centers for the disabled, nursery schools, supplementary services to the nursery, playrooms for early childhood, family centers, territorial education, specialized education for disabled pupils, residences for the elderly and adults, facilities for mental disabilities.
