The Technical Directorate of the Social Policy Coordination Cabinet (DT) is made up of the professional technical support team that offers specialized support in social policy matters.

The DT articulates and designs interventions in social policy carried out by the Cabinet. In that condition, it exercises the role of formulator, coordinator, evaluator and manager of the programs in which the social policy of the Government materializes. It also seeks to guarantee the access of the poorest and most vulnerable, to the public and social services of our country, as well as the sustainable development and improvement of their condition.

The DT promotes investment in human capital of poor households and protects their income from fluctuations in relative prices, through interventions in security and social assistance.

Accompaniment to the physical-financial budget formulation.
Accompaniment to the formulation of plans and projects with the attached institutions.
Professional internships to exchange good practices.
Technical help desk in planning and budgeting.
Formulation of public policies.
Services through the unit of Punto Solidario.

Administrative-Financial Management

The Administrative-Financial Directorate (DAF) is the functional area of the Social Policy Coordination Cabinet that aims to facilitate the management of public expenditure of the Social Protection Program, so it is responsible for managing the operational processes, both administrative and financial , of all the executing units or dependents of the Social Protection program, in addition to managing the operating expenses of the GCPS.
Services we offer:

Review and approval of expense execution forms in completed status.
Approval of quarterly quotas and budgetary rescheduling.
Payroll approval.

consultive advice

The Consultative Council of Civil Society is an organ created in 2001, composed of various personalities from civil society and NGOs, who serve as advisors and consultants in the field of social policy, to define, formulate, execute and follow up on plans and programs in the Dominican Republic.

It is part of the Alliance Against Poverty, which sets the guidelines for compliance and monitoring of the Progressing with Solidarity program.
