Ludwigsburg University of Education/ Padagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg

The Ludwigsburg University of Education sees itself as a modern competence center for educational sciences in four closely linked areas: school education, extracurricular child and youth education, adult and further education as well as education in the cultural and social fields. 

A major focus of the university profile is the bachelor's and master's degree courses for teaching at primary school, secondary level I, European teaching at secondary level I and special education (BA/M.Ed.). For vocational training, the PH offers a Master of Science.

Since January 2016, a cooperative "Professional School of Education" has been set up together with the Stuttgart universities and colleges. Here, the partners cooperate primarily in the teaching master’s courses. The special feature of three other bachelor's degree programs is the linking of educational and didactic approaches to extracurricular fields of education (education and upbringing in childhood (childhood pedagogy), educational science, culture and media education).

In addition, students can specialize in six other master's courses in certain professional and research areas or qualify for two master's courses for management positions in the education sector, including an international course. In addition, the PH is involved in certificate studies in the field of further education.
