Humana People To People - Botswana

Humana People to People Botswana is a non-profit making organisation that has worked to raise solidary humanism and promote People to People actions in the fight for development in the past 20 years in Botswana. We see development as a process where people are actively involved through learning and actions to overcome hardships and improve their lives.

Vision:
Humana People to People Botswana envisions a well informed and equipped community with capacity to liberate itself from all forms of dehumanizing ills of society to be able to foster their own development.

Mission:
Humana People to People Botswana was formed to implement projects to empower people with tools, knowledge and skills to foster own development in their families, communities and the nation.

Established in 2001, Humana People to People Botswana is a national non-profit development organization. Since the beginning, it has been involved in the transformation of poor communities struggling with the negative effects of abject poverty, harsh climatic conditions, scarcity of agricultural resources, and the persistence of the HIV and AIDS pandemic. The organization carries out its projects through grassroots programs designed to empower people with the tools, knowledge and skills necessary to create sustainable long term development. In 2020, the projects reached more than 300,000 people. To achieve the goals reached, Humana People to People Botswana counted on the hard work of more than 200 staff members and 275 volunteers.
