The Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary first arrived in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, on November 22, 1870. We congratulate them as they celebrate 150 years of ministry in the Northern European Area.

RSHM CELEBRATE 150TH ANNIVERSARY IN PORTUGAL
Congratulations to our Sisters in Portugal who have opened their jubilee year, marking the 150th anni- versary of the arrival of the first Religious of the Sa- cred Heart of Mary in Portugal on September 30, 1871. Many events involving RSHM, the SHM Ex- tended Family and lay collaborators in our schools and social projects are planned for the coming year.
