ASEAVA - Asociación Española de Criadores de Ganado Vacuno Selecto de la Raza Asturiana de los Valles

The Spanish Association of select cattle breeders of the Asturian de los Valles breed ( ASEAVA ) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the breed and defend the interests of associated breeders. Established in 1981, it has a national scope and is officially recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as a Collaborating Entity for the management of the Genealogical Book of the Asturian de los Valles breed.

Parallel to this work, the Association carries out tasks of:

Promotion through the organization of auctions, exhibitions and contests.
Management of the Breed Selection and Genetic Improvement Program.
Training courses and talks to farmers.
Technical advice to its associates.
Commercialization of semen and embryos through ASTURGEN SL
Interlocution between farmers and the different Administrations.
Promotion and commercialization of XATA ROXA brand meat.
Publication of books and magazines.
Participation in research projects related to breed.
