Zambia Export Grower's Association (ZEGA)

The Zambia Export Grower's Association (ZEGA) was formed in 1984 as a non profit making association to promote the interests of all growers wishing to export fresh horticulture produce. ZEGA is a professional and independent body, its aims are chiefly to provide an efficient and adequate air freight service to exports, to co-ordinate the buying of inputs and the organisation of technical assistance under the EU Export Development Programme, to advise on sources of finance, to assist with information on marketing opportunities, to lobby Government and other bodies on behalf of grower-exporters, yo provide technical support services and training to members.
