AIMF - International French speaking Majors Association - Association Internationale des Maires Francophones

L'Association Internationale des Maires Francophones is the network of local elected officials from 48 countries where French is the official language, the language of communication or a widely used language, and who find themselves around these common values, which are the place of women in decision-making processes, democracy participatory or local development planning.

Through its meetings and seminars, it offers elected officials and managers of the territorial administration a space for exchange, reflection and dialogue around territorial management practices. It promotes the transfer of know-how, the strengthening of French-speaking expertise and the development of concrete solidarity between its members.

By participating in major international conferences and establishing lasting working relationships with development agencies and multilateral donors, the AIMF also offers its members the opportunity to see their values and expertise brought to the international arena.

Finally, it is committed to fostering exchanges with local authorities of other cultural areas and their networks, associating them with its debates and signing partnership agreements with them.
