The Global Fashion Value Chain Ecosystem of South Africa (GFVC SA) operates under the umbrella of the Federal GFVC AFRICA, a pan-African-global initiative founded in 2016 to drive sustainable economic growth in the fashion value chain landscape. We drive sustainable economic growth by promoting and managing industrialization and enterprise development through partnerships, integration, research, and innovation. Our mission aligns with GFVC AFRICA's goal to develop a single, competitive, and inclusive global fashion value chain economy of Africa, supporting AUDA-NEPAD, AfCFTA, and the SDGs. We foster a resilient and sustainable ecosystem through collaborative governance and multi-stakeholder engagement.

With a primary focus on empowering rural and peri-urban populations, youth of all educational backgrounds, women, and persons with disabilities, we aim to promote inclusive development and leave no one behind.
