Atlas, Integratie & Inburgering Antwerpen

Atlas is the urban agency for integration and civic integration in Antwerp. The agency contributes to the general objectives of the Flemish integration policy.

Atlas fulfills the same tasks as the Flemish Agency for Integration and Inburgering, but then on the territory of its own city:

• provide advice and guidance to citizens through integration programs and through a trajectory-based training and counseling offer, with a view to the proportional participation of persons of foreign origin
• increase the accessibility of facilities for persons of foreign origin through:
• language policy and language promotion
• integration work
• legal advice
• and the services of social interpreting and social translation
• contribute to social support for living together in diversity
• provide advice and support for an inclusive and coordinated integration policy.
