About

Humanitarian organization created in 1945 (private organization of humanitarian aid) constituted by several churches, following an appeal launched to the Committee of the churches and the Norwegian pastors to help the disaster victims of Europe after the second world war. The organization now operates in 50 countries around the world. Its objective has three parts: rapid assistance to refugees, populations affected by disaster or other suffering; assistance with long-term development work; support to churches in need.
