As part of a policy of generating knowledge in socio-connectedness of the region, the University provides services of various kinds to businesses, organizations, the private and state sector so require.

This work is carried out by the Centre for the Transfer of Research Results (CETRI-Litoral), through which it seeks to identify strengths and technological capabilities among its human resources for transfer, based on the demands, the productive system and government.

Since its inception in 1994, the purpose of CETRI-Litoral is to encourage and ensure an efficient business development to enhance the growth and competitiveness of an area traditionally producing and processing of goods and services.

Thus, the University provides its human resource capacity, knowledge and equipment to businesses, investors, government and intermediary bodies for the formulation and implementation of projects and joint work.
