1Libya

1Libya is a non-profit organization that was founded in March 2011, at the start of the Libyan revolution to assist in the liberation of the country by support for free media. During the transition phase, it has focused on media and civic education, areas that are essential to the development of a successful modern democratic state.

A number of projects have been developed and are being implemented within these areas, usually with the support of international organizations. Since its creation, 1Libya has evolved into one of the leading CSOs within the country, with a reputation for being professional and quality driven.

1Libya is an non-governmental organization with no political or religious affiliations. 1Libya’s team is a mix of young, well-educated men and women on the ground with support from a number of expat Libyans and non-Libyans abroad.
