The State Health Resource Centre works as additional technical capacity to the Department of Health and Family Welfare Chhattisgarh, with the aim of improving the access, quality and equity in public health system.

Mitanin: Mitanin Programme started in 2002 has more than 71,000 women Community Health Workers known as Mitanins. It covers all small habilitations and the urban slums of Chhattisgarh. Mitanins play the roles of service providers, link persons and activists for primary health care.
