About

The Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) is an umbrella organization which draws together political leaders, academics, military officials, and diplomats to support the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The ATA is an independent organization that is separate from NATO. It has been conducting analyses, trainings, education, and information activities on foreign affairs and security issues relevant to the North Atlantic Alliance.

The ATA attaches a special relevance to the programs for the new generations as an effective way to cope with long-term challenges to international peace and stability. To this end, the ATA organizes and encourages a variety of activities, ranging from trainings to study visits, in close cooperation with its youth branches, the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA), with universities, high schools and young professional programs at home, in parallel to NATO summits and the ATA HQ in Bruxelles.
