Ethiopian Centre for Development (ECD)

Ethiopian Centre for Development (ECD) is a non-governmental local organization operating in the field of education, community safety and violence prevention, youth and women empowerment and employment.It was established in 2004 to work on Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, under the name of Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Center (EACC) and had been working on the promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

ECD is a women-led organization that takes the triple nexus approach (humanitarian-development-peace) to its work. It is located and operational in Oromia, Amhara and Southern Nations and Nationalities People's regions of Ethiopia
