About

The National Rice Development Office (ONDR) is a Public Administrative Establishment (EPA) in charge of rice issues in Côte d'Ivoire.
It was created by decree No. 2012-767 of August 1, 2012.

ONDR is placed under the technical supervision of the Minister responsible for agriculture and under the economic and financial supervision of the Minister responsible for the economy and finance.

The ONDR's intervention policy consists of providing coordinated support to the actors, directly or indirectly involved, to create the conditions for sustainable development of the rice sector in order to achieve and manage self-sufficiency in rice. According to the decree of creation, the ONDR's mission is to design and propose orientations in terms of rice policy with a view to covering the consumption needs of the populations in rice, by national production and thus contributing to food security.
