JOTAY

The Jotay: Acting Together Program is a manifestation of the initiative “Getting Our ACT Together” (GOAT), promoted by eight European members of ACT Alliance (Joint Action by Churches). The GOAT initiative seeks to strengthen synergies among the European ecumenical members of the ACT Global Alliance. The program Jotay: ACTing Together was created in Guatemala with the active collaboration of the following five organizations: Norwegian Church Aid, Christian Aid, Church of Sweden, Bread for the World, and the Lutheran World Federation.

Based on their ecumenical identity, they support people in organizing, empowering, and reclaiming their rights to sustainable development and the promotion of justice and equality, from the local to the international level.
