IAT – Ingenieurgesellschaft für Automobiltechnik

Since 1991, the company supplies engineering services in research and development of automotive safety.

IAT is independent. The owners are the heads of the three divisions software, testing and simulation.

With about 100 employees, the company obtains an annual turnover of about 8 Mio €.

IAT is delivering the following services and products:

Numerical simulation for occupant protection and structural design
Development of software for vehicle safety tests and simulations
Automotive safety testing
Development of test facilities and test components
IAT is a cooperation partner of the Berlin Technical University. In selected areas, we are working closely together with the university.
