About

The Palestinian Banking Corporation between the past, the present and the future:

The establishment of the Palestinian Banking Corporation Group dates back to 1986, when three institutions were established: the Arab Development and Lending Corporation (ADCC), the Economic Development Group (EDG), and the Arab Technical Development Company (TDC). The establishment of these institutions came in response to the absence of banking services in Palestine due to the occupation’s closure of all Palestinian and Arab banks operating in Palestine in 1967, as well as to confront the general economic crisis, the significant decline in the work of the productive sectors and the sharp rise in poverty and unemployment rates.

The Palestinian Banking Corporation sees in the banking services it provides that help spin the wheel of development, as part of the contribution to facing this challenge by providing the necessary financing for small, medium and large projects. The financing programs offered by the Corporation focus on achieving the greatest possible impact on the overall economy by providing financing in the field of working capital, developing productive assets, and expanding the capital base, which in turn increases the volume of demand for the outputs of medium and large projects that provide productive elements and inputs to projects. small, enriching the entire economic cycle.

We point out that the funds that are granted Islamic financing on the Murabaha system based on the decision of the General Assembly since 2009 to follow the Islamic Murabaha system in our financing to comply with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.
