The Association of Organic Agroindustrial Producers of El Salvador is an association of small producers of organic and fair trade cashews that was founded in 2002 with the aim of becoming an alternative for economic, social and environmental sustainability for the communities of Bajo Lempa. and other productive regions of El Salvador. The association is currently made up of 80 associates and associates, with the participation of women being 40%.

Currently, the organization has diversified its production to other crops such as: mango, pineapple, cocoa, all of them with an emphasis on organic and fair trade.

APRAINORES has an excellent business relationship that has been built for more than 15 years with important clients such as Equal Exchange (USA), Etiquable (France), Food coopos – Intersol (Austria), among others. All of them within the fair trade system. The importance of these long-term strategic alliances is the sustainability of the production and commercial processes of APRAINORES. 90% of the production is for export and the rest goes to the national market.
