About
The Uzbek-Japanese Center was established in accordance with an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Japan, reached in October 2000. The founders of the Center are the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The purpose of this public organization is to train personnel for business development in Uzbekistan, as well as to deepen mutual understanding and develop friendly ties between our countries by conveying various information, culture and language of Japan to the people of Uzbekistan who are interested in this country.
The center has also been collaborating with the Japan Foundation since September 2012 in the areas of Japanese language education and cultural activities.
