ONG Afrique Secours et Assistance (ASA)

The non-governmental organization (NGO) Afrique Secours et Assistance (ASA) was created in 1998 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where its headquarters are located. It operates in the field of Protection, care for vulnerable populations, and intervenes throughout the territory through branches based in Tabou, Man, Daloa, Soubré. Its action also extends to the international level if necessary. We are thus at the service of all people or groups of people in a situation of vulnerability or about to become so. And we pay particular attention to women and children in difficult situations. To implement all the requirements related to its status and its action on the ground, Afrique Secours et Assistance (ASA) has set itself the following objectives: Promote respect for children's rights and ensure their protection. This particularly concerns children in vulnerable situations (children orphaned by AIDS and other serious illnesses, unaccompanied and separated children, refugee children, child victims of trafficking, child victims of the worst forms of labor). Provide multi-sectoral assistance to Ivorian or African populations in terms of health, nutrition, education, training and any issue of particular interest to women and children. Provide assistance to Ivorian or non-Ivorian populations in difficulty in the context of an emergency situation, in the event of a disaster (floods, earthquakes, drought and population displacement). Design and implement economic and social development projects in Côte d'Ivoire and Africa.
