Congo Peace Network

Congo Peace Network, CPN in acronym is a non-profit organization created on August 9, 2010 and whose mission is to work for peace and peaceful coexistence by promoting justice and human rights in the Democratic Republic of Congo. As its name suggests, Congo Peace Network is not a network in the true sense of the term which is made up of several organizations, but it is in the figurative sense given that in the philosophy of its creation, it will be able to on the one hand to extend across the country by creating Centers of studies and research for peace and peaceful coexistence and on the other hand, it will be created a dynamic of the actors at the level of the local communities at the base having adhered to its vision and its mission and involved in the activities of the organization to achieve the objectives it has set itself.

CPN is a congolese Organisation that works with the youth. Its focus is in human rights,conflicts résolution,peace building,civic éducation and youth empowerment.

Congo Peace Network is tirelessly engaged in the civic education of the population on practices of peace, non-violence and democracy as well as human rights. This education is provided through peace clubs in universities, schools and churches. Congo Peace Network believes that it is still possible to dream of a Congo where peace and justice reign.
