Association "Medica" Zenica is a specialized women's organization that has been operating for almost three decades throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and seeks to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable categories in society. These are women and children who survived war rape and sexual violence, peacetime violence and other forms of domestic and community violence, as well as survivors of human trafficking. In its long work, Medica Zenica has developed an approach that is comprehensive, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary in accordance with the individual needs and participation of survivors, nurturing feminist principles and international standards.

Our mission is to contribute to the reduction and eradication of violence and discrimination against women and children through direct work, prevention programs and advocacy activities, and to ensure their equality in the family and society.
