Pakhtunkhwa Rural Support Program (PRSP) is a nonpolitical, non-profitable and non-governmental humanitarian relief and social development organization founded in February 2010 and registered in 2012 under section 20 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860, with registration No. 2095/5/7442 with Social Welfare Department. The organization is established with the aim to support rural and marginalized societies in the journey of sustainable development process.
PRSP came into existence as a result of the motivation and personal initiative of its founder, Ms. Ambreen Banori, to enhance the socio-economic status of the underprivileged people. Hailing from a rural family, the founder was no stranger to hardships faced by the underprivileged. Working with a team of committed people, PRSP’s aim has been to secure integrated sustainable development through people’s participation to make a positive difference in the lives of underprivileged.
