Family Health International Cameroon

FHI 360 collaborates with local partners to respond to the country’s evolving health and development priorities, including HIV, dengue fever, tuberculosis, avian influenza, malaria, reproductive health, nutrition, substance use and tobacco control. Our in-country professionals strive to be change agents at multiple levels, from building local capacity to scaling up evidence-based interventions, while supporting local, sustainable ownership and strengthening systems for results that last. 

Since 2012, FHI 360 has implemented projects in Cameroon aimed at improving education, health and civil society. These projects have included English-language acquisition and e-learning programs, initiatives to provide HIV services, and efforts in civil society strengthening.

Today, FHI 360 continues to address HIV in Cameroon through the HIV Free project, which is implemented by the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Board (CBCHB) in three regions of the country. FHI 360 provides technical assistance to CBCHB staff at 80 health facilities through supportive supervision, mentoring and coaching to improve HIV prevention, testing and treatment in Cameroon.
