VanPaz offers technology and business consultancy services for SMEs in the life sciences and health care sectors. Additionally, it performs research and development in the field of data science for medical applications often participating in international consortia (H2020 and beyond). It also does grant acquisition for third parties (SMEs, end-user organizations, universities) and participates in start-up companies in its sectors of interest.

VanPaz combines knowledge in the scientific/technical domain with business and financial expertise, both hands-on. Such combination is very useful for grants acquisition and financing on behalf of third parties, in which VanPaz has subject knowledge to judge the contents of proposals and business plan; this is quite unusual in the standards consultancy firms operating in this market. Also, VanPaz has an extensive network of partners both in Europe (e.g., the Netherlands, Italy, Spain) and in Canada with whom it has collaborated in previous projects.
