Rastro Urbano - Universidad de Ibagué

Rastro Urbano is a research group created in 2009, made up mainly of full-time professors and students from the Architecture and Social Communication and Journalism programs of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences of the University of Ibagué. It was born with the objective of creating a space for the generation of knowledge from the discipline of Architecture, specifically in thematic areas such as cultural heritage and architectural design.

In recent years, the task of incorporating different disciplines into their research projects has been proposed. In this process, research professors from the fields of Civil Engineering, Social Communication, Economics, Design and Law have been linked. According to the Call for the evaluation of research groups 2021, the group is classified before Minciencias in category A1.
