AKUO Energy

Akuo was created in 2007 by the founders of Perfect Wind who had sold their company's entire wind portfolio (600 MW) a year earlier to Iberdrola. Majority-owned by its co-founders, Akuo was born from the combination of two observations: "today it is within the capacity of each of us to act in order to bequeath a better world to our children" and "renewable energies contain a incredible potential for development in France and around the world”.

This is why Akuo has endeavored, from the outset, to develop and operate projects, which must go beyond the simple production of renewable electricity and create additional societal benefits for the populations of the territories in which they are located. With success: Akuo is today one of the leading independent producers of renewable energy in France.
