About
The ETHICS COMMITTEE IN ANIMAL SCIENCES AND HEALTH AND VETERINARY PUBLIC HEALTH ( CESASPV ) is a committee of the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (IAV) whose role is to ensure compliance with bioethics in animal experimentation and in scientific research relating to science, animal health and veterinary public health.
Any experimentation carried out at IAV Hassan II, in vivo or in vitro and using animal models, products and/or animal cells and others (see section: Objects and Fields of Action ) must have the approval and authorization from CESASPV. This also includes National Doctorate thesis work, Veterinary Doctorate thesis work, end-of-study work and pharmaceutical project work, etc.
The CESASPV is the only committee mandated to evaluate the bioethics of the experiments carried out within the IAV Hassan II.
The CESASPV evaluates the research projects emanating from the IAV Hassan II but remains open to its environment and to the different aspects of sensitization, popularization and dissemination of the principles of bioethics at the regional and national levels. Consultations and/or requests from other research organizations and national universities that fall within the fields and disciplines that come under its prerogatives can also be handled by CESASPV.
Before submitting a request for ethical authorization to CESASPV, it is advisable to read the Procedures section and complete your knowledge of compliance with bioethics in animal and scientific research, if necessary, by consulting the Online Resources section .
The submission of requests for ethical authorization is open at any time of the academic year: from September 15 to June 15. The decision concerning each file submitted reaches the applicant one month after the date of receipt of the application.
