FjordAlg was founded by CEO Dr. Gabriel Ossenkamp in 2016 based on the belief that microalgae can contribute to human wellbeing and that algae ingredients will be increasingly important in aquaculture.

We have clean water and electricity and meet our customer‘s demand for natural and renewable products produced locally with a low carbon footprint.
We have developed a product (link to internal products page) for natural pigmentaion of salmon that is under testing and upscaling.
We spent our first years on the west coast of Norway in the Aksello incubator in Florø, the town where the whole salmon value chain from feed to exporter are within a stroll.
