Country Trading was established thirty years ago by the visionary aspiration of Ato Benyam Berhane Atona who began this venture as a sole proprietor until later transforming it into a Private Limited Company (PLC) in order to meet the expansion of the core vision and the growing needs of the business. Since then, Country Trading PLC has become a sizable company with several different business divisions for over the past twenty years.

Country Trading PLC works cooperatively with both local and international business partners. We employ more than 2200 to 2400 permanent and temporary employees at a variety of levels.
