ASTEF - Associação Técnico Científica Eng Paulo de Frontin

The Technical-Scientific Association Eng.° Paulo de Frontin - ASTEF is a legal entity governed by private law, linked to the Technology Center of the Federal University of Ceará .

Created in 1973, ASTEF is non-profit. Its primary objective is to contribute to the scientific and technological development of Ceará, by offering consultancy and training in the specialized areas of engineering and architecture, enabling the transfer of cutting-edge technology, through its technicians and laboratories.

For over 30 years serving the needs of public agencies and private companies, ASTEF is formed by a body of engineers/architects, professors and former students of the UFC Engineering and Architecture Courses. It operates in several areas, from electrical engineering, transport, structural and civil construction, hydraulic and environmental, mechanical and production, chemistry, teleinformatics and architecture and urbanism, in addition to several other technological areas and professional training.
