Founded in 1958, it is one of the most thriving independent publishers in Venezuela. It brings together the most outstanding creators and intellectuals of the Venezuelan cultural scene, handling various thematic contents that include: narrative, history, psychology, politics and topics of general interest.

It has developed a solid editorial line through its different collections and the Author Libraries project, in an effort to order and publish with the same editorial treatment the vast work of some of the most outstanding Venezuelan writers.
